New Article Just Published on EZA

Here's a new article about Shane Melaugh's Backlink Battleplan course.
It's a great value for the money, and I recommend you check it out. Shane
is a good guy, and refreshingly free of the usual internet marketing hype.

I guess you could say he's a "meat & taties" kind of marketer--he'll fill
you up with what you need, and not serve you up a bunch of tasteless junk.

New Blog Post: Backlinks Battleplan Review

For the most part, I am loathe to promote internet marketing courses of
any description. Usually these products are full of hype, rehashed
information and way overpriced for the value received.

Today, I'm going to break with tradition and actually recommend a course
that I think not only provides great value for the money, but actually
over delivers on its promises.

As I have stressed before, creating backlinks for your sites is one of the
most critical steps in getting your site's pages to rank for the keywords
you are targeting. With this in mind, I recently purchased a course called
Backlink Battleplan. . The course was developed by Shane Melaugh of
RichQuickReview.com. As I said previously, I am always highly skeptical of
any type of IM courses, but this one seemed different than any thing I had
seen lately.

Latest Blog Post: Why Newbies to IM Get Frustrated and Give Up

Why do newbies to IM get frustrated and give up? Misinformation. Steep
technology learning curve. Bankruptcy.

Ok, the last I'm kidding about, but not by much.

When you are starting out in affiliate marketing, it is very difficult to
find the answers to your questions, or even worse, find so many answers to
your questions that it is nearly impossible to decipher it all. The fact
is, the cult of misinformation BRINGS PROFITS to unscrupulous, unethical
marketers who really do not have a career in affiliate marketing
themselves. Their careers are based in marketing to other marketers. And
keeping you dangling, giving you hope then snatching it away is how they
profit. This is how they get repeat sales.

New Blog Post: Is Free Always Better When It Comes to Affiliate Marketing Forums?

Something for nothing. We all like to think that we've received a great
deal, or received something absolutely free, right? However, something for
nothing can be a serious trade off when it comes to affiliate marketing
forums.

While the forum may be "free," you may end up spending more money in that
forum than you would in a forum with a paid membership. Why? Because free
forums are apt to be full of sharks (seasoned marketers) just waiting to
pounce on a floundering newbie. They will tell you that their latest
product can solve all of your problems, and you will be attracting a bevy
of hot chicks as you cruise by in your new Porsche. You know, the one you
bought with the $23987.97 you made overnight while you slept after buying
their great e-book on how to convert CPA offers using AdWords!

New Blog Post: A Hybrid Approach to Autoblogging

While the majority of my sites are autoblogs, I have noticed something
recently. I have a few sites with a good amount of original content, in
the form of articles that I wrote myself, and some with a mixture of my
own content and content from the UAW plugin. I'll be honest; these sites
with some original content do out perform my straight autoblogs in terms
of income.

Now, just writing original content isn't enough to get you love from
Google. This is Google's mantra, but it's basically a crock of bovine
excrement. Check out this case study from Michael Grey where he outlines
how he created fantastic content over a six-month period, even making it
to the front page of Digg five times, and he still received very little
love from Google.

So what's the best approach then? Autoblogging, or writing unique content?
How about a combination of the two?

New Blog Post

Video is an underused medium for driving traffic. Few people realize that
YouTube.com is the number 2 search engine! Especially when people want to
know "how-to", Youtube is the site they will search first, often even
ahead of Google.

Now many people get downright uptight when you mention making a video.
They worry that they are not young enough/pretty enough/glamourous enough
to make videos. Nonsense! Unlike on t.v. or the movies, people viewing
videos would rather see real people who can give them the information that
they are looking for rather than someone who looks good but offers little
in terms of real information.

You might think that you need to invest a lot of money to make videos, but
the truth is that you don't.

Here's my latest blog post

Great…you've built your first site with WordPress! You have it nicely
monetized with WordPress, Amazon, Clickbank or a CPA offer. There's only
one problem–no traffic! If you don't have traffic, you don't have sales.

You have a couple of choices here. You can either pay for traffic, which
is a tricky proposition if you don't know exactly what you are doing and
can afford to take a potential loss, use free methods for building back
links, or invest in some automated tools to help you get those back
links....
