Online Teacher Education Programs

Online teacher education programs have become so popular that now they account for one-in-eleven advanced education degrees issued in the U.S.  Four online colleges now grant more advanced educations degrees than any single traditional advanced education degree program

One of the biggest reasons for the increase in popularity of these programs is that they allow the learner to stay employed and earning while they complete degree requirements. Many teachers seek out Masters and Doctorate qualifications to move into higher paying administrative postions after putting in their dues in the classroom.

Convenience and flexibility are the key to the popularity of the online degree. In the not too distant past, many employers were dubious that online degrees were as academically rigourous as traditional degrees but this perception is changing rapidly.

I'm taking over this blog

My husband has a nice PR 2 blog that he has left to languish in the dust!
Can you believe it? I couldn't either...that's why I'm taking it over.

I just couldn't wrap my head around why he would do this! I hope I can
revive the patient.

New Post: Enable WP 3,0 Multisite

I recently created a tutorial for the My Affiliate Apprentice forum on how
to enable the WP 3.0 multisite function and use the MU Domain Mapping
plugin to create a niche portal site or, alternatively, create a blog
empire that you can control from a single dashboard.

I decided to take the tutorial and create a step-by-step PDF for my
readers, and you can learn more by clicking here.

New Blog Post: Learn Anything at Your Affiliate Marketing Forum?

Yes, I've poked around some big affiliate marketing forums, but in
general, have been rather nonplussed by them. What is the real function of
these forums? Is it to actually inform the readers of these forums with
information that will help take their business to a new level of success,
or is it simply to sell affiliate products to other marketers?

New Blog Post:: Building Skills vs. Getting Rich Quick

Hey everyone, I just put up a new post on my blog.

Here's an exerpt:

I just came from a webinar by Shane Melaugh of Backlink Battleplan fame.
Shane said something that really struck a chord with me.

Shane stated that most noobs focus on building wealth instead of focusing
on building skills that will help them build a business. What did he mean
by this?

Shane meant that too many people focus on getting rich quick instead of
investing in the skills needed to build a sustainable business model.
Folks jump from internet marketing course to internet marketing course,
from e-book to e-book, to do-all-piece-of-software to
the-next-great-piece-of-software without any focus on exactly what these
things will do for them, and why they need them in the first place.
